Tim Lehi was encouraged from an early age to draw and make art: his father was an artist and art professor. Around 1990, Tim turned his energy toward tattooing. Within a decade he had descended upon San Francisco and became an integral part of the widely acknowledged “tattoo renaissance” happening there at the time. During his 18 years in the Bay Area, Tim worked along-side many of the greatest tattoo artists on the planet. He joined the crew at Atlas in 2016 and moved to Portland where he makes art, music, and epic tattoos influenced by the classic American and Japanese traditions, and inspired by comic art and psychedelia. Tim has a wife, a cat, and an encyclopedic knowledge of guitars.
